Meet Impact Design Collaborative. M E E T O U R T E A M

Mitchell Mead
Management Director

Mitch received education in architecture and economics to pursue new approaches for promoting a one health definition. Mitch synthesizes and translates the information from post-occupancy analyses from IDC’s projects for future design interventions.

Lauren Ayako Tischler
Business Director

Ayako received degrees in Environmental Studies and Economics from the University of Michigan to pursue work in inclusive business and invite communitites ito be a part of designing their own solutions. She supports IDC in business & community engagement.

Anna Carl
Development Director

Anna studies architecture as a means to impact the physical world by addressing issues with a holistic systems approach. Anna uses her experience with renovation architecture to act as a bridge between those who can benefit from architecture and design interventions and the mission of IDC.

Makenzie O'Connor
Research Director

Makenzie holds a Master’s in Design Science from the University of Michigan and a B.S. in Global Health from Allegheny College. She identifies how the built environment influences human sensory perception to understand the relationship between self-destruction, self-expression, and built environment.
